How Your Rooftop Project Works

From your first call to your subsidy — eight steps.

This is the path every rooftop system follows with us. You will always know which step you are on.

Enquiry
You call, message or fill in a form. We ask about your roof and your electricity bill.

Step 2
Site survey
Our engineer visits, checks the roof, shade and wiring, and takes photographs.

Step 3
Proposal
You receive a written proposal with the system size, equipment and price.

Step 4
Agreement
You accept the proposal and sign the agreement, including any agreement the scheme requires.

Step 5
Installation
Our team installs the panels, inverter and wiring, and records every serial number.

Step 6
DISCOM inspection & net meter
Your electricity company inspects the system and fits the net meter.

Step 7
Commissioning
We test the system, switch it on and hand over the test report and manual.

Step 8
Subsidy
If you applied under PM Surya Ghar, we follow up the subsidy on the national portal until it is credited.

The subsidy is paid by the Government. Its approval, amount and timing are decided by the scheme, not by Grid Nova.
