Grid Nova Energy
Careers & Associates

Two ways to work with Grid Nova.

Join our team as an employee, or work on your own account as a Grid Nova Associate — introducing solar customers in your area and earning commission.

Associate Programme

No fee. No deposit. Paid on verified payments.

Grid Nova does not charge any registration fee, joining fee or security deposit. If anyone asks you for money to join, report it to us.

Associate

For individuals who know people who want solar.

  • Sales Associate — find and introduce customers, collect their information and documents, and hand them to Grid Nova. Grid Nova does the site assessment, proposal, installation and completion.
  • Execution Associate — also manage the project stages Grid Nova assigns to you: site assessment, document collection, installation coordination, recording the installed equipment, and follow-up to completion.
  • You choose one when you register; Grid Nova approves it.

Preferred Associate

For established people appointed to a territory.

  • Appointed to a territory and level: State Head (at most two per state), District Head (one per district) or Block Associate.
  • Introduce customers and carry out the project stages assigned to you, to the same standards as an Execution Associate.
  • Support the Associates in your territory and recommend new applicants — Grid Nova makes the final decision.
  • Earn commission on your own customers plus a territory commission on verified business in your territory.

Who can apply

  • You are at least 18 years old and live in India.
  • You have a valid PAN.
  • You have a bank account in your own name.
  • You agree to a verification phone call before approval.

Documents you will need

  • A recent photograph
  • Aadhaar — a masked copy showing only the last four digits (you can download it from UIDAI)
  • PAN card copy
  • Bank account details and a cancelled cheque
  • Address, mobile number and email

Preferred Associates also need

  • Business details
  • GSTIN, if you have one
  • Your experience and references

How earnings work, in plain words

  1. 1.You earn only when a customer’s payment has reached Grid Nova’s bank account and been checked. A payment that is only promised earns nothing.
  2. 2.You earn in step with the payment: if the customer has paid part of the price, you earn on that part.
  3. 3.Each entry in your portal moves from Earned to Approved to Paid, and shows which customer and which payment it belongs to.
  4. 4.Approved commission is paid into a bank account in your own name, monthly, by the 10th of the following month (Pending confirmation by Grid Nova).
  5. 5.Tax is deducted at source as the law requires, and you receive TDS certificates.
  6. 6.If a payment is reversed — a cheque bounces, a refund is made, a project is cancelled — the commission on it is reversed too.

Commission rates for each programme and level are shown in your portal, not on this page.

Guidelines

How every Grid Nova Associate works.

No cash, ever

Customers pay only into Grid Nova’s own bank account — by cheque, demand draft, NEFT, RTGS, IMPS or UPI. Never accept cash, and never let a customer pay you or any other account.

No price promises

Don’t promise a price, discount, subsidy, approval, timeline or warranty that Grid Nova hasn’t confirmed in writing.

Approved brands only

Recommend only the equipment, brands and categories Grid Nova has approved.

Customer data stays in the portal

Collect details in person, explain why using the Customer Information Notice, and never copy customer information outside the portal.

Taking good site photos

  • Take them on site, through the portal camera — never upload photos from another site or from the internet.
  • Shoot in daylight. First the whole roof in one frame, then close-ups.
  • Show everything that can cast shade: water tanks, walls, trees, towers, nearby buildings.
  • Photograph the electricity meter and the main distribution board.
  • Keep them sharp and unedited — no filters, no screenshots.

Helping a customer approve the agreement on the PM Surya Ghar portal

  1. 1.The customer signs in to the national PM Surya Ghar portal with their own login.
  2. 2.Together, check that Grid Nova is shown as the vendor and that the details match the customer’s proposal.
  3. 3.The customer approves the agreement themselves.
  4. 4.Never ask for the customer’s password or OTP, and never approve on their behalf.

Portal screens can change. Always follow the steps the portal itself shows.

No. Associates are independent and work on their own account. You cannot sign contracts, quote prices or accept money on Grid Nova’s behalf.

When do I get paid?

Can I stop being an Associate?

Yes, with 15 (Pending confirmation by Grid Nova) days’ written notice through your portal. Commission already earned on verified payments remains payable.

Careers

Build the grid with us.

Grid Nova Energy is a growing renewable energy company executing solar EPC projects across West Bengal and Bihar. We’re looking for engineers, project managers and sales professionals who care about doing this right — not just fast.

The kind of person who thrives here

You understand that solar EPC is infrastructure work — methodical, detail-intensive, and accountable across a 25-year system lifetime. You prefer getting it right over getting it done fast.

You’re comfortable in the field as much as in a spreadsheet. You know that DISCOM processes and MNRE compliance aren’t bureaucratic nuisances — they’re the job.

Engineering integrity

We don't cut corners on specs, procurement or commissioning.

Long-term thinking

We measure success in decades of performance, not the delivery day.

Customer accountability

Every team member is a direct point of contact for the client.

Continuous learning

Solar EPC evolves rapidly. Curiosity is a requirement, not a bonus.

Current Openings

No roles listed right now.

We hire when we find the right person for a specific need — not the other way around. If your background is in solar EPC, project management, electrical engineering or renewable energy sales, send us your CV and we’ll reach out when something opens that fits.
