2.1 About these Terms
These Terms govern your use of www.gridnova.in and its features, including the Solar Calculator, the Nova assistant, call booking and online proposal acceptance. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2.2 Estimates are indicative
Figures shown by the Solar Calculator, Nova or any other online tool are indicative estimates. They are based on the information you provide and general assumptions. A binding price is given only in a written proposal from Grid Nova, prepared after a site assessment.
2.3 Government schemes and subsidies
Subsidies and incentives under schemes such as PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana are granted by the Government and processed through the national portal and your DISCOM. Eligibility, amounts and timelines are decided by those authorities under the scheme rules in force. Grid Nova helps you apply and supports you through the process, but cannot guarantee approval, amount or timing. Subsidy eligibility may depend on factors such as property ownership, connection type and the use of Domestic Content Requirement (DCR) compliant modules.
2.4 Nova, our AI assistant
Nova provides general information and helps you get in touch with our team. Its replies are automated, may contain errors, and are not an offer, a quotation or professional advice. Nothing Nova says binds Grid Nova unless our team confirms it in writing.
2.5 Booking a call
Times are shown subject to availability. We will confirm your booking by email. If we need to change the time, we will contact you. Please tell us if you need to reschedule.
2.6 Proposals and online acceptance
A proposal is valid for the period stated in it. Accepting a proposal through our secure link records your intention to proceed on the terms of that proposal. The work itself is governed by the agreement signed between you and Grid Nova, including any agreement required under a government scheme.
2.7 Payments
Grid Nova never accepts cash. Payments must be made only to Grid Nova's own bank account by cheque, demand draft, NEFT, RTGS, IMPS or UPI, as described in our Customer Payment Policy. No Associate or employee is authorised to accept payment into a personal account.
2.8 Our Associates
Grid Nova Associates are independent persons authorised to introduce customers and, where approved, to carry out defined project activities. You can confirm an Associate's identity by scanning the QR code on their Grid Nova ID card. Associates cannot change prices, promise subsidies or accept payments on Grid Nova's behalf.
2.9 Using the site responsibly
You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to access areas you are not authorised to use, submit false information, interfere with its security, or use automated means to extract its content.
2.10 Intellectual property
All content on this site — text, images, graphics, logos and design — belongs to Grid Nova or its licensors. You may view and share it for personal, non-commercial purposes; any other use needs our written permission.
2.11 Limitation of liability
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, Grid Nova is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site or reliance on its general information. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under law, or your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
2.12 Links to other sites
The site links to government portals and other websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
2.13 Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Kolkata, West Bengal, have jurisdiction.
